Q: When should I make my booking? To ensure we can secure the wheels you want at the time you want, we suggest booking 2 week prior to the event. We have a high number of wheelsets available but there is always a big demand for big events and particular wheelsets.

Q: When do my wheels arrive? We send the wheels out the week of the event, our aim is for you to have the wheels to you by Thursday. If you need the wheels prior please contact us at info@xtreme-carbon.com

Q: Can I pick up my wheels?  We provide a wheel pick up option for certain events, if you are looking to pick your wheelset up from an event we will fit the wheels to your bike while you wait. Please refer to the event drop down list in the wheel hire menu to see which events we will be at or for any special request please contact us at info@xtreme-carbon.com

Q: Can the rental period be extended? Yes, if you are looking to extend your rental period please contact us at info@xtreme-carbon.com to discuss the proposed rental period and rates.

Q: When should I return the rental wheels? You are required to return the wheels the day following the event, which in most cases in Monday. Please ensure the wheels are cleaned and packaged in the original shipping wheel-boxes with all accessories (brake pads, cassette, tyre, skewers) back to Xtreme Carbon on the day following the event. If you forget to return the wheel-set or any of the accessories, your credit or debit card will be charged for every additional day or for the replacement of accessories which are not returned.

Q: Where do I return the wheels to? Xtreme Carbon Wheel Hire is located in The Ponds, NSW. Once your hire has been confirmed a confirmation email will be sent you which will contain details of where to return the wheels.

Q: Can I cancel or change my order? You can cancel or change your order, but only if the wheels haven’t yet been shipped. If you wish to cancel your order, a $50.00 cancelation fee does apply. If the wheels have already been shipped, any cancelations will incur a 100% fee of the total rental price.

Q: Do I need insurance and what does it cover? Accidents can happen and crashes do happen regularly, potholes and other obstructions can come out of nowhere so we highly recommend taking insurance. The insurance covers most accidental damage that might occur during the rental period.

It is important to note that insurance does not cover the following scenarios;

  • Punctures will be charged to the Hirer directly, unless repaired prior
  • The loss or theft of the hired equipment.
  • Any negligent use or any intentional damage. If it is found that the equipment was used neglectfully, the Hirer will be charged for the cost or repairs or replacement. It will be at Xtreme Carbons discretion to determine the cost.

The Hirer acknowledges the insurance applies only in respect of to the Hired equipment and understands that there is no cover for personal injury.
